I am so lucky to have the greatest customers! One wonderful customer of mine, Sue, had purchased a piece of pottery from me, entered my raffle to win my giant gift basket, complimented me on all my stuff, had a wonderful & cheerful conversation, and then vanished. But not for long.
A few days later, I told myself that I really must pull the winner’s name out of my raffle container. I pulled the name, Sue, and immediately emailed her. I was so excited and surprised when I figured out that it was the very same Sue that was so delightful to meet, talk with, and sell pottery to! A little time went by as we all are busy, but Sue has now posted a lovely little write up with gorgeous photos of how much she loves my handmade skincare and pottery! Without further ado, here is Sue’s lovely post from www.sunnyhawklane.blogspot.com :
“I’m on a winning spree. Truly winning, not winning in some sarcastic-Charlie-Sheenish way. At my last craft show (I make jewelry and sell at craft shows….my jewelry site —which needs alot of attention— is here: http://www.sunnyhawklane.com/ in case you are curious), I didn’t win the raffle (I usually do, it’s so weird), and went home thinking, ah, well, can’t win EVERYtime. A few days later I get an e-mail telling me I have won this wonderful gift basket from a crafter I met that I went ga-ga over….Karen makes VEGAN hand-cream AND awesome pottery. I bought this wonderful bowl from her:
So, I thought it was amazingly cool that I won these items:
See more of her lovelies here: http://www.craftybynaturestudio.com/ (Note: she uses beeswax in some of her products, so some are not strictly vegan….check ingredient list).
I love her stuff so much that I am going to order some things from her to give away here, on the blog, in July, to celebrate my one-year vegan anniversary. More on that in June.”

Crafty By Nature’s skin care is definitely a winning product. I am using it on my psoriasis and it is really helping heal the skin and soften it!!! Her pottery is amazing and I am seriously considering buying some as a wedding present. I am not surprised that you enjoy your customer’s so much- you are a people person! jt

Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate any and all feedback I can possibly get about my handmade, all natural skincare! I am totally thrilled to hear it is helping you with your psoriasis, helping it to heal and soften! I am guessing you are using the “Working Hands Skin Repair” but that is just my guess since I think that is what would work best.
I just finished up a GORGEOUS wedding set of pottery!!! I want to post the photos sooo badly, but I am supposed to wait until the wedding happens so that the bride and/or groom do not accidentally see their gifts posted online. I can hardly contain my excitement about their pottery gifts though. You know, Nick is a potter too, so we made the set together. He made all the small plates and the platter. I made the two giant, lovely goblets / chalices with their names on it. Oh my gosh, I totally have to post the photos. I am thinking of posting them here on my blog, and just holding off on posting them to facebook where they would certainly see them for sure. So exciting! Wedding present pottery is so wonderful and rewarding for us to make, and it makes such a lasting and memorable, and even personalized gift. So fun!

Hi Karen!
Wow, that is so cool that you put my blog entry on here! I’m honored.
Your stuff is the best….I have 5 horses and spend a lot of time in the barn and my hands in particular take a beating. Regular use of your lotion has made such a difference. LOVE IT! Keep up the great work and will see you at a show down the road.
Thanks again,
Sue

Hello, I’m the winner of her blog giveaway and I love your stuff! I really like the vegan vanilla lip balm, it tastes like vanilla almond milk and it works better than any other lip balm I’ve tried! The lotion is great and it really helps my factory worked hands 🙂 When I use these up I’ll be back to buy more!
